Plenty of entrees ‘hit home’ like the Nolan Ryan filet – a gorgeous cut of beef that rests comfortably atop a bed of black & white beans sourced from Gonzales, Texas. Gotta love the local angle!
Chef Armstrong’s Firecracker Quail also piqued my interest; it’s wrapped snug in bacon with fresh jalapeño, all in a sleek barbeque glaze…very impressive – and highly addicting!
If you fancy something on the lighter side, I’d go for the Seven Layer Farmer Salad- Texas baby greens plus the works that includes avocado in a divine Tomatillo Cilantro Vinaigrette that so many people ask about..
