We’re days away from dressing up and tricking out All Hallow’s Eve. To those planning to host a monster mash of their own, these treats are to die for! Even still, ours is a healthier approach to Halloween snacks for your bash on the big day.
Think super easy eats you can make and involve your little ones in, plus some wine picks for the “big kids” this week on We are Austin… 🙂
Seven-Layer Cemetery Dip:
Works just as well as a cake (instead of the dip). You pick the fillings for this plot! Pretzel sticks create a menacing fence with crackers as our tombstones…
Witch Broomsticks:
Soak and size tamale husks. Wrap with rubber bands to tie off. Insert a wooden skewer into husk to form the “broom.” The remaining end push through mini sandwich rolls (deli-sliced turkey, zucchini & cream cheese–all rolled up!).
Apple “Bites”:
Apples quarters, sliced, and filled with peanut butter + more fruit!
Bat Wings:
Cheese balls w/ green olives for eyes and your favorite chips make the “wings”…
