Ahh the flavor shades of summer. Bright, light and oh so good! Chef Belinda of H-E-B Cooking Connection shares a chic finger food you can make with fresh strawberries. It’s shortcake in a way you might not have thought of before…
Like Chef Belinda says, this dessert is ooh la la yummy. The real “kicker” here is the kick you get from the brand new release from Texas Brew — their Stawberry Chipotle Sauce.
Toss with sliced strawberries, Adam’s Reserve Pure Vanilla Extract and a Prima Mazzo Moscato reduction for some honey sweetness. Let these ingredients sit and come together for about an hour or so.
Meanwhile, prep your Ladyfingers with a spoonful (or so) of the thick and syrupy Moscato reduction, top with honey goat cheese and then begin to layer on your strawberry lusciousness that you’ve created. Garnish sparingly with fresh basil chiffonade and whipped cream, and voila!
