I’ve got a great reason to get out of the kitchen this week! Head to Auden’s Kitchen Thursday, June 3, for the Zaca Mesa Vintner’s Dinner. The winemaker, Eric Mohseni, will be there which is a huge plus for wine fans. And, you already know that Auden’s is the new creation of famed chef Bruce Auden of Biga on the Banks.
He’ll describe the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley near Santa Barbara where the grapes are grown and have some wonderful information about the wines and what ones pair best with what foods.
Zaca Mesa wines took a giant leap in popularity when in 1995 Wine Spectator placed Zaca Mesa’s 1993 Syrah #6 on their Top 100. Zaca Mesa says it is still the only Santa Barbara County wine to break into Wine Spectator’s top 10.
The cost is $55 per person, and start time is 6:30 p.m.
For more info, contact Auden’s Kitchen at 210-294-0070. Auden’s is located at 700 E. Sonterra Blvd.
