Boudro's Prickly Pear Margarita
This famous fixture on Boudro's cocktail menu is now yours to savor at home! It's one of our favorite margaritas and certainly packs a punch. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- ¾ cup tequila
- ½ cup triple sec
- ¼ cup simple syrup equal parts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves, then cooled
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup prickly pear cactus juice
- Ice
- 1 lime
Instructions
- Pour all ingredients (except the prickly pear juice) into the blender. Blend, successively adding more ice and blending until it has a sorbet-like consistency. Divide between cocktail glasses, top each with prickly pear juice, and garnish with a lime wedge.
