Tempura Fried Haricot Verts with Green Goddess
Crispy, crunchy tempura fried green beans with homemade Green Goddess dressing for dipping. Done and done!
Ingredients
Tempura
- 1 cup flour
- 1 ½ cups Sprite
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
Final Procedure
- 8 oz Haricot Verts trimmed
- 3 cups Vegetable oil
Green Goddess Dressing
- 2 cups mayo
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup chopped chives
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 6 filets Anchovy rinsed and minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 avocados
- 1 cup Ranch
Instructions
For the Tempura
- Fold flour, sprite, and seasonings into each other, leaving it lumpy. Make sure to keep it cold. Set aside until ready.
Final Procedure
- Heat vegetable oil (or preferable oil) in Dutch oven skillet. Bring to 350 degrees. Lightly coat green beans with batter. Fry until crispy. Once done, remove from oil and place on plate with paper towel to absorb excess oil. Serve with a side of green goddess dressing.
For the Green Goddess Dressing
- Stir all ingredients together blend to mix the avocados well.
