Shrimp Sambuca from The Liam's Steakhouse
Ingredients
- 5 shrimp
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp shallots, diced
- 2 tsp red pepper, diced
- 2 oz white vermouth
- 2 oz Romana sambuca
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp green onion
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the shallots and red pepper and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add the shrimp and cook until opaque. Do not overcook.
- Add the vermouth and sambuca and cook until the liquor is burned off.
- Add the heavy cream, green and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook until the sauce is thick and ready to serve.
Notes
Enjoy as an appetizer or serve over a steak.
