Chili with a Twang
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 2 onions chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 4 (14.5 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 (16 oz.) bottle Twang Michelada Mix
- 1 (15 ounces) can kidney beans with liquid
- Salt and pepper to taste
- *Optional- add 2 Tbsp. of Twangerz Chili Lime Seasoning*
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, onion, garlic, and Twangerz Chili Lime Seasoning, if desired in a large stockpot over medium heat. Cook and stir until beef is browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Drain and discard excess grease.
- Stir tomatoes and Twang Michelada Mix into beef mixture. Break up tomatoes while stirring and bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.
- Stir in beans with liquid from the can. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.
