These flavor-packed garlic shrimp can be an appetizer, or double the recipe and serve atop GOYA® Yellow Rice Mix as a delicious, colorful main course.
Ingredients
- ½ cup GOYA® Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 pound medium shrimp peeled and deveined (about 30 pieces)
- 1 teaspoon GOYA® Adobo with Pepper
- 3 Tablespoons GOYA® Lemon Juice
- 1½ teaspoons GOYA® Minced Garlic or 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- ½ teaspoon GOYA® Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 Tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- Crusty bread for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over moderate heat. Season the shrimp with adobo. Cook the shrimp, flipping once, until they start to turn pink, about 2 minutes. Add the lemon juice, garlic, paprika and red pepper to the pan. Continue cooking until the garlic turns a light golden brown and the shrimp is opaque, about 1 minute more.
- Transfer the shrimp and sauce to a serving plate and garnish with parsley. Serve with plenty of crusty bread for dipping.
