Tanji’s bio

Goodtaste Starts Here
Tanji is an Emmy award winning journalist pursuing her passion for wine and food. Tanji explores the inviting worlds of chefs, wine makers and culinary newsmakers. Her snappy, fun videos entice even the most novice of chefs to get into the kitchen and create…with a glass of wine nearby, of course.
Millions view her Goodtaste.tv content via a wide range of media. Tanji is the Executive Producer and host of Goodtaste with Tanji, a television series that showcases chefs and restaurants from all over the state. The show airs in 17 Texas markets and in Oklahoma and Nashville.
In creating content for Goodtaste.tv, Tanji works with top chefs and winemakers. Lidia Bastianich has actually cooked in Tanji’s kitchen! Tanji’s husband Mike is her partner in Goodtaste, and their exploration of wines leads them to wine regions all over the world.

Once the war in Afghanistan started, she reported from the USS Theodore Roosevelt in the Arabian Sea.On a lighter note, Tanji was the original host and executive producer of a local lifestyle show called San Antonio Living, from 1997 to 2002. Her hosting expertise got national exposure when she co-hosted Live with Regis twice in 2000 during the nationwide search for a co-host.
Tanji and her husband Mike visit vineyards all over the world (seen here with Rob and Lydia Mondavi) to pursue their interest in wine. From Tanji:
A new adventure!
Fate has always been my biggest ally. It was fate that got me in the news business, and I believe fate is responsible for bringing my passion for wine, food and travel to fruition. After 17 years at the same television news station, I ventured off in a new and exciting direction. Now, this fabulous world… what I describe as the ‘real’ world outside the news bubble… has unfolded. So c’mon—let’s continue to journey — together we’ll have a great time and discover some wonderful wines, food and fun people along the way.
