Tanji stopped by KPRC in Houston this week to share some sips and bites perfect for summer! She brought along one of her favorite dishes from Phat Eatery in Katy – the kerabu prawns made with shredded papaya, mango, peanuts, and a sweet, tangy, slightly spicy sauce drizzled on top. She also brought a must-try dish from Tribute, an outstanding restaurant in The Houstonian (a great place to stay-cation this summer)! Tribute’s quinoa-crusted salmon set atop a sweet pea chimichurri is a flavor-packed and nutrient-loaded dish you’ll fall in love with. Don’t miss Tribute’s white sangria either. It’s brilliant! Lastly, Tanji shared a summer staple from Kenny & Ziggy’s New York Delicatessen on Post Oak Blvd – chilled Hungarian sour cherry soup. If you haven’t tried this sensational soup yet, get down to Kenny & Ziggy’s ASAP! And of course, Tanji brought along some great sips for the summer: Tost, a non-alcoholic sparkling white tea, Seaswept, a brand-new white wine blend from Josh Cellars, and a fun, new Texas twist on a pina colada made with beer! Check out the recipe below! Check out the full KRPC segment right here!
