This weekend on Goodtaste, you’re in for sweets, heat, and cheesy goodness. We’re going to the heart of historic downtown Hutto, Texas, to the Texan Cafe & Pie Shop for a slice (or two) of heaven. This adorable café churns out over 30 kinds of pie every day in addition to good, classic country food like chicken-fried steak with a heaping of mashed potatoes and gravy. After filling up in Hutto, we head to Austin for a completely different dining experience at Sway, a playful modern Thai restaurant. Don’t skip on their sticky-sweet pork ribs that are braised until tender and slathered with a spicy red curry sauce. Lastly, we visit Kenny’s East Coast Pizza in Plano. This red sauce joint has the cheesiest pizza with housemade sausage and a towering lasagna drowning in Kenny’s famous marinara. You don’t want to miss out on any of this amazing food!
