Join us this weekend, as we celebrate restaurants all across Texas. We’ll sample Chicharron de Ribeye—a signature dish from the restaurant that saved San Antonio’s Fiesta during the pandemic. See how they did it! We also go on the hunt for the best mouthwatering barbecue in Texas and dig into some homemade chorizo from a breakfast haven in Houston. Don’t miss this season opener!
Find your showtime below and get in on the action (and incredible food)!

So excited for NEW SHOWS!!!
I really like this and all your Wine suggestions! I’m going to ask my HEB in San Angelo, TX, to “Center” the Wine!!

Hi Pamela-Great idea!! 🙂

Hello Tanji, love the new show. Congratulation. Hopefully you remembered me. We would always sit together at the Woodlands Food and Wine Tasting. I left University of Houston and decided to go into the inter-city and teach Culinary and help start a dual-credit program for the inter-city kids! We were supposed to start this semester, but COVID. We’ve been told that hopefully and with God’s blessing we can start in the fall. I really miss the food tasting!! So excited for you!!! Keep in touch!!

Love your show and information on the computer. However, on your TV station and city listing you write Corpus. It’s Corpus Christi. Big difference. You do not say El for El Paso, Fort for Fort Worth, or San for San Angelo/Antonio. Just saying.

Why advertise John Soules food when HEB doesn’t carry it in Houston? The recipes are great, but need substitute items from HEB.
Tanji says
H-E-B carries the breaded chicken tenders and fajitas under the H-E-B label. The John Soules Foods products are also at Costco, Walmarts and other retailers as well. If there’s a particular product you’d like to find, let me know what part of town you shop in and what product you’re interested in and I can help you find the most convenient source/retailer.
