Hey Texas, August is the month for restaurant weeks! Long-standing weeks like Houston and San Antonio’s Culinaria will be joined by Austin as they celebrate their second year. With over 450 restaurants participating between 3 of Texas’s largest cities, the options are endless. From fine dining to good ol’ at-home country cooking there will be something for you!
These 2-4 course meals of breakfast and brunches ranging from $20-25, lunch $15-25 and dinner $35-50 are a steal and the perfect opportunity to dine at some of your favorites or trying something new!
I always look forward to restaurant weeks and my advice to anyone wanting to participate is to plan ahead and make your reservations early! A lot of restaurants will take walk-ins but to be safe I suggest calling ahead to reserve your seat. Check out the local restaurant weeks near you and learn more about the programs that they support below.

Hi Tanji,
Need your help having family from Canada. What’s the best restaurant in Austin, Houston and San Antonio.
Thanks

Well, that’s a tough one because there are plenty of choices in all spots. Please email me at [email protected] what type of foods your guests like, and I’ll send over some ideas.
