If you’re looking for some “smashing” good seafood, you’ll wanna make sure to have a bib ready because things are about to get messy. Join me as I visit my friends at San Antonio Living and share some hands-on fun at Smashing Crab — from its bountiful seafood boils to golden-fried baskets to oysters on the half shell. For drinking, I also have four wines that will pair perfectly with any seafood meal you may have. Catch the full segment here.
Tanji’s Wine Finds:
We’re starting off with sparkles! The La Marca Prosecco is dry and crisp and great all by itself! Who says you need a celebration to sip on a glass of sparkling wine? $14
This is one of the ultimate seafood wines. The Château Bonnet Sauvignon Blanc has a citrus flavor, and there is salinity in this wine that makes it perfect with oysters. $15
The Broadbent Vinho Verde is a Portuguese wine with citrusy lime notes and a slight effervescence. It’s an incredibly light wine that is perfect for porch weather! $7
It’s Rosé season, and you need to know about the Gérard Bertrand Cote des Roses Rosé. It’s crisp, has a bright acidity and a dry finish. $15
As always, thank you to our good friends at San Antonio Living! You can find all of these wines at your local H-E-B or buy them online at HEB.com. Don’t forget: Get 10% off your entire purchase when you buy six or more bottles.
