Raise the salad bar at Vinaigrette in Austin! We love Vinaigrette’s perfect patio with a 500-year-old oak tree serenely shading guests on hot days, but mostly for its garden salads that pack so many fresh ingredients and velvety dressings. There are more than 20 colossal salads to choose from, with a common theme: farm to table. Chef and owner Erin Wade sources her produce from a farm in Bastrop. (Read more about it here.) We love the ‘Chop Chop’ salad (top) with fresh tomato, bell pepper, crisp romaine, garbanzo beans, salami, roasted chicken and their classic cobb vinaigrette.
Even folks who aren’t keen on kale will love the ‘All Kale Caesar!’ salad with shredded kale, zingy and zesty lemon-anchovy vinaigrette, fresh parmesan and chopped Marcona almonds. It’s so tasty when paired with fresh fish, which Vinaigrette updates daily.
We absolutely love their protein add-ons, featuring items like the Lemon-Herb Chicken Breast nestled under a heaping stack of fresh arugula.
