Ready to party? I have a few wine finds that are perfect for your next party — whatever the occasion!
Olema Chardonnay
This wine stands out because the wines come from both the Sonoma Coast and the Russian River valley. The grapes are fermented in both stainless steel and Oak barrels, resulting in a very smooth and balanced wine. You’ll taste bright flavors of green apples and pears, with just a hint of buttery oak on the finish. You can find this one for about $15 a bottle.
Ed’s Smooth Red Select Blend
Looking for a real party pleaser from Texas? Ed’s Smooth Red Select Blend from Fall Creek Vineyards near Marble Falls is ready for the drinking! It’s a fruit-forward wine but not a sugar bomb by any means. It’s a great one for easy drinking and it’s very reasonably priced at $9 a bottle.
The Advocate Red Blend
The Advocate is a fascinating find from Browne Family Vineyards, blended by a very select group of wine specialists from H-E-B. I know some of the folks who had the opportunity to make this great wine, and I have to say, “Great job!” I really like this wine. It’s a beautiful smooth wine just under $25 a bottle.
