Great new wine finds just in time for spring from the Montrose Market H-E-B. Wine Manager Jamie Shamburger has a few of her favorite whites to wet your whistle with this season… 😉
Broadbent Vinho Verde
$9.36
Dry, crisp with citrus notes of lemon and lime. This Portuguese porch pounder is a frizzante style wine, meaning it has a delicate bubble that’s more spritzer, less champagne. Make sure to serve chilled! Try with seafood or anything spicy.
Grüner Veltliner
$11.98
If a Riesling is too sweet on your palate, the Grüner Veltliner is a nice substitute. A complex Austrian white with beautiful minerality and apricot notes. The perfect pairing here could be oysters — or anything salty! French fries perhaps. 🙂
Josh Cellars Pinot Gris
$12.98
What a nose on this white! Floral and fruity with flavors of pear, nectarine, even a little bit of jasmine. Talk about a crisp and refreshing wine that will please both sweet and dry drinkers!
