A longtime favorite in H-Town is Hungry’s– for the fresh fare, the atmosphere and the space for the kids to run around. It’s the ultimate family restaurant serving hearty comfort food from classic hamburgers to entrees that dabble in flavors of the Mediterranean and Middle East. Save room for the Housemade Bread Pudding à la mode…so addictive!
If you haven’t made it out to Fielding’s Local in The Woodlands, Easter is a good start! It’s a gorgeous glass venue with an open, free flowing kitchen and a dining room that receives plenty of sunlight. Their 7 hours leg of lamb [below] is a beauty:
My friends at Rainbow Lodge have long been known for their cozy setting and seasonal wild game menu. The patio there is also pretty killer with live music on Fridays! This Texas Lamb Shank was braised overnight and plated here with a marvelous mint pea pesto:
