Folks are searching for (and craving!) pumpkin flavor as much as ever. Now how about a new angle for the seasonal favorite… 😉
Below are a few pumpkin spice beer cocktails made with Traveler Beer Co.’s Jack-O Traveler Shandy for your consideration. The shandy just became available nationwide for the first time in 2015 and is made with real pumpkin. Bottoms up!
PIE’D PUMPKIN
1 8-10 oz glass
1 oz whiskey
1 oz spiced fruit whiskey liqueur (Ex: Southern Comfort)
1 Jack-O Traveler (or other Pumpkin Beer)
to taste fresh cinnamon
Fill glass with ice. Add whiskey and spiced fruit whiskey liquor. Top with pumpkin beer, stir, then grate fresh cinnamon over the top. Garnish with a cherry and an orange slice.
JACK AND THE BEAN SHOT
1 pint glass
1.5 oz vanilla vodka
1Â Jack-O Traveler (or other Pumpkin Beer)
Pour vanilla vodka into a pint glass filled with ice. Fill to top with pumpkin beer and stir.
APPLE JACK-O
8-10 oz glass
1 oz apple brandy
3/4 oz hazelnut liqueur
1Â Jack-O Traveler (or other Pumpkin Beer)
Fill glass with ice. Add apple brandy, hazelnut liqueur, and top with pumpkin beer. Stir, then garnish with lemon wedge.
THE RUM-KIN PUMPKIN
1 shaker glass
1 8-10 oz glass
1 oz spiced rum
1 oz hazelnut liqueur
1.5 oz orange juice
1 pumpkin beer
Fill a shaker glass halfway with ice. Add spiced rum, hazelnut liqueur, and orange juice. Shake and strain into glass filled with ice. Top with pumpkin beer and garnish with a lime.
