One of my very favorite Mexican restaurants has been serving San Antonio since 1981, and twice a week the prices reflect this inaugural year. If I’ve been traveling and haven’t been home, this is the FIRST thing I crave when I return…Las Palapas!
Mondays and Wednesdays prices on select items revert back to their original cost in 1981 – get an entire enchilada plate for under $3 one week or a .69 cent bean & cheese taco the next! My go-to taco, the Taco Norteño, has been a staple for nearly 32 years.
Las Palapas also has a mouthwatering selection of frozen margaritas for the days when nothing else will do!
This family owned business is one of our own and a true success story in San Antonio. Their newest location on Hausman & 1604 is quite the enhancement; a spacious, modern layout with plenty of HD TV screens, a full bar and a few other bells and whistles you’ll have to see for yourself when you visit. 😉
