Easy breezy summer days are all but out the door. It’s the return of routine, along with schedule-friendly foods that practically make themselves. Goodtaste went back to school with H-E-B Cooking Connection for a great week night meal solution in homemade casserole! Whatever you don’t finish is good to freeze and reheat for some awesome leftovers!
First up in the video above is our Cheesy Chicken ‘n’ Biscuit Ole Bake. The prep time is less than 15 minutes with the dish ready for serving in just under 30! Green chile stew, biscuits, shredded cheese and Adam’s Reserve Jalapeño Ranch Seasoning join tender chunks of fully-cooked chicken in a bubbly, cheesy deep dish concoction of dreams!
Oh wow! Our kicked up casseroles continue with this super fast Cheesy Meatball Sub Bake, perfect for girls’ night in with leftovers the next day. This casserole is made with Italian style meatballs (fully cooked), provolone cheese and a Four J Meat Sauce that’s a popular choice for families. It’s smooth with no chunks so the little ones usually take to it. 🙂
We topped ours with several pieces of crescent roll dough and generous amounts of drizzled Ottavio Olive Oil. Flavor Italiano! Try serving on a crisp, green Caesar Salad.
Here’s a Texas twist on a Shepherd’s Pie – no peas, carrots or mutton included! Cookwell & Company’s gluten-free Tortilla Soup forms the base of this meaty casserole with ground turkey, mashed potatoes and a delish Espresso Chili Rub from Adam’s Reserve.
This tends to be a very full casserole, so you might look for a cookie sheet underneath to catch any drips when baking. Once again, everything comes together in under 30 minutes for this San Antonio Shepherd’s Pie.
