This is the summer of DO! The New Braunfels Convention and Visitors Bureau has some great summer activities share taking place in our own backyard.
New Braunfels is truly an ‘all-ages’ town that comes alive during the summer months. It’s one of the epicenters for water recreation with tubing a high priority on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers. Talk about a time to decompress and enjoy the outdoors!
There’s also water skiing at Canyon Lake Marina, plus that #1 rated waterpark in the nation, Schlitterbahn, if you’re looking for daylong fun in the Sun…
Take in the scenery of Landa Park with a leisurely train ride or bear witness to the breathtaking formations at Natural Bridge Caverns. They’ve even brought back the Stars and Stripes Drive-In Theatre with nightly features on three screens.
New Braunfels is a hotbed for top-notch food, shopping and entertainment. Be sure to pay a visit to Gruene Hall – my favorite venue for live music – and a bite at the historic Gristmill. There’s tons to do and time’s a wastin’…summer will be over before we know it!
