You can create a little, or go all out, decorating your home for the holiday with easy craft ideas by Adeina Anderson (CraftingWithAdeina.com)…
Stop by your local Tuesday Morning for inexpensive table settings and don’t be afraid to ask for a little help from some of the wonderful bakers at Nothing Bundt Cakes. They can decorate a beautiful Bundt Cake center piece or mini bundtini party favors.
You can also keep it fun for the kids with the Wilton chocolate dipped strawberries and the fruit fireworks. All of these projects are very quick and easy to make:

Tape off stripes using the masking tape, and paint the inside of the stripe with the red acrylic paint, you will have to paint 2-3 coats, let it dry completely.

Finish the look off with a yummy 4th of July decorated Bundtini from Nothing Bundt Cakes.
You can also use red and white scrapbook paper to make a cone that can hold other party snacks like Twizzlers or popcorn. Just cut the 8 ½ x 11 piece of scrapbook paper in half long ways, and roll it into a cone shape, adhere the edges with a glue dot.
Chocolate Strawberries
- Fresh whole strawberries
- Wilton candy melts – white chocolate
- Wilton Melting Pot
- Wilton blue sugar
First, wash and dry your strawberries, while you are doing this, start melting your Wilton candy melts in the Wilton Melting Pot. If you don’t have a melting pot, you can follow the microwave instructions on the candy melt package. Once the white chocolate has melted, dip about half of the bottom of the strawberry into the white chocolate and then roll the tip of it in the blue sugar. Place the dipped strawberries on a plate and put them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to cool.
Fruit Firecracker
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Bananas
- 4th of July Skewer décor (Found at Micheal’s Arts & Crafts)
This is probably the easiest craft out there. Cut your banana into ½” slices and place one banana on the firecracker skewer, then place a blueberry then another banana and another blueberry, follow these instructions until there is only enough room left on the stick to place the strawberry on the end of the stick, with the pointed side out.
USA Door Hanger

- Americana Acrylic paint in red, white and blue
- Sponge Brush
- Thin paint brush
- Glue Dots
- Patriotic ribbon
Paint one star red, one star white and one star blue using the sponge brush, let the stars dry for 30 minutes, and then paint another coat on each star, let that dry another 30 minutes. Next, using the thin paint brush and the white paint, paint a U on the red star and an A on the blue star. Now paint an S on the white star with the blue paint. Let all of the paint dry for another 30 minutes.
Place the stars in the USA order on top of the ribbon and adhere the ribbon to the stars with glue dots. Make a bow for the top of the hanger and hang it on your door or wall.
