Size up several craft beers on the lighter side of the style spectrum — good for summer and curbing this Texas heat! Below is a preview of what you can expect on tap at The Woodlands Wine & Food Week:
Ace Premium Hard Ciders Pineapple
This cider has the aroma of fresh pineapple juice, a full-mouth feel, and a crisp finish and is a great refresher. All natural, gluten-free, and great for making Piña Colada and Pineapple Breezes!
Alaskan Summer
A traditional style of Kölsch beer that balances a softly malted palate with the clean freshness of hops. In the tradition of the style, neither overpowers the other. Both hops and malt come together to refresh and renew the palate. The straw-gold color and easy drinkability are an enjoyable way to celebrate summer.
Dogfish Head Namaste
A witbier bursting with good karma. Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher.
This year marks 10 years for Wine & Food Week. They’re paying it forward with half-price tickets to the H-E-B Wine Walk at Market Street on Thursday, June 5. Witness the magic of Market Street as it is transformed into a wine walkabout with industry experts sharing their ‘fruit of the vine’ with you!
Guests should plan to enjoy wines from around the world, food sampling and demonstrations, in addition to an offering of Chef selections. That’s more than 40 stations, beer from the beer garden and chef-prepared food for only $25! The first 1,000 guests will also receive a gift bag courtesy of H-E-B.
