Here in the fabulous Sysco Central Texas kitchens we’re having a lot of fun with Chef Brett Curtis of Nestlé. He’s dishing on some premier products that will save you a ton of time during prep, and give you the variety you’re looking for to complete multiple meals in a snap.
In the short video above, Chef Curtis demonstrates the finer points of a grilled salmon dish, which utilizes a unique blend of ancho (roasted poblano) and Minor’s lobster base for the marinade. Interestingly enough, marinading a protein with the same type of protein (in this case – seafood on seafood) will only enhance the flavor!
Topped in a delightful lemon cream sauce and plated with sautéed asparagus and grilled polenta cakes, it’s a simple yet elegant presentation that’s premium quality and smells amazing. Enjoy, and find out more on multiple uses for the sauce – from casseroles to soup-starters – from the Chef himself!
