Stroll along the vibrant San Antonio River Walk and you’re bound to come to Biga on the Banks, a premier fine dining restaurant with contemporary-regional cuisine you just can’t beat. The food is outstanding — and always highly acclaimed! Owner/Chef Bruce Auden invited Goodtaste in on the cooking process for a fun, new Gulf Brown Shrimp sandwich.
Wild Brown Shrimp is a big time Texas product…we’re lucky the Gulf is so close! Local really does taste better, especially when the food is harvested at just the right time, and hasn’t traveled many miles before being plated. This clever coastal dish makes use of brioche (we used a ciabatta roll), shrimp sautéed in butter and flavored with a delicious Thai Green Curry sauce…with just the right amount of kick!
Be sure to watch the video above, as we list out the precise ingredients used for this recipe. Chef Auden is also an excellent instructor, when it comes to assembly ;).
