Wow! Watermark Grill hits the jackpot. Executive Chef Scott Cohen delivers again. From the delicious salmon pastrami appetizers to the succulent, giant king crab legs, Watermark Grill will excite seafood lovers.
The restaurant is in a beautiful venue at Stone Oak and 1604 – the old Reggiano’s space – an architect’s dream that has been updated but not drastically altered. The space is beautiful and the patio divine.
But, the real show here – the incredible fresh seafood.
For starters, a beautiful sashimi presentation on an attractive Himalayan salt block with a fruity caviar-like garnish. The King Crab legs are incredible…fresh, succulent and meaty. Plus, there’s a wonderful selection of fresh fish entrées including salmon, Artic Char and flounder to name a few. And, yes steak fans, filet mignon and a 10 oz sirloin are on the menu as are Australian lamb chops.
The wine list works great with the entrées, and the cocktails are enticing and inviting. The vodkas and gins are hand infused with fresh fruits. My favorites – the blueberry infused martini and the cucumber martini. Another popular if not show stopping presentation is the Sandia Caipirinha – a festive drink with a generous slice of watermelon and a spike of sugar cane.
The new restaurant opens ‘quietly’ Friday and publicly on Tuesday. Grab a seat while you still can…the Watermark Grill is sure to be a hit.
