What a way to enjoy the Texas Hill Country! The fabulous Westin La Cantera recently renovated the resort’s signature bar Steinheimer’s Lounge. And the re-do is worth its weight in gold! There is a very romantic story about the bar’s namesake, Karl Steinheimer. He started out as a pirate. Then, became a miner and he struck gold in Mexico.
