My love affair with oysters began out west on a California vacation about ten years ago. It was a romantic getaway to start with, but throwing a few oysters into the mix didn’t hurt. I grew up in Houston with Gulf oysters, but as a kid I just wasn’t enthusiastic about eating them… raw or otherwise. Times have changed!
There’s certainly more to do in Napa than just taste incredible wines. A girl’s gotta eat, right? Brix Restaurant is one of the best places to spend an afternoon or evening enjoying the gorgeous setting and feasting upon homegrown produce from their garden.
