Executive Chef Jason Garcia of Hotel Havana and Ocho Lounge & Restaurant recommends using Agave Nectar to sweeten your margarita for a nice flavor profile. Dilute the Agave nectar with 25-percent water so that it will mix well with the other ingredients in the cold shaker.
Method:
Place all ingredients in a shaker and ice and shake. Strain over ice in a salt rimmed glass.

- ½ oz. Triple Sec
- ¾ oz. Lime juice
- ¼ oz. Agave nectar
