La Gloria margarita

  • 2 oz. Herradura Reposado
  • 2 oz. Cointreau
  • 3 oz. Tamarindo Puree
  • 2 oz. Orange Juice
  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup

Chef Johnny Hernandez’s Morenita is a refreshing cocktail with tamarindo, fresh orange juice, Herradura Reposado tequila, and Cointreau with a chile-tamarind rim – perfect for sipping poolside. You might recognize Hernandez Top Chef season nine.


Mix all ingredients in a shaker and shake well. Pour over ice in a glass with a chile chamoy rim. Garnish with an Orange Wedge.
