What a great time of year to visit some Texas wineries. If you haven’t visited Dry Comal Creek Winery on Hwy 46 just west of Gruene, then put it on your list. Franklin and Sabrina Houser are delightful hosts, plus you’ll taste a wine you don’t find very often that’s made from Black Spanish grapes…a unique vino. While you’re there, ask to try their sangria. They were nice enough to give me the recipe to share with you.
Method:
Blend frozen limeade and orange juice, add bottle of Foot Pressed Red. Put in freezer until slushy. Add chilled grapefruit soda just before serving. Garnish with orange and lemon slices.
