Aldaco’s Watermelon Margarita

Print Friendly

  • 1.5 oz Partida Tequila Blanco
  • 1 oz fresh watermelon juice (see note in recipe)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz agave nectar (diluted – half nectar, half water)
  • Ice

A fun twist on a Texas favorite–watermelon. This margarita is the most recent creation by the Margarita Maven Blanca Aldaco at Aldaco’s Stone Oak. It is delightfully refreshing…and easy to make!

Mix all ingredients – shake softly about 12 times.
Serve in chilled martini glass.

Watermelon juice:

2 cups of diced watermelon.
Strain and save the pulp.
Place pulp in jar and add just a bit of watermelon water to the pulp to form a “Light” paste thickness – basically forming a liquid concentrate.
