There’s a delightful new restaurant in Gruene, Texas…actually just down the road from historic Gruene—The Gruene Door. The food is wonderful! And yes, they have a nice wine list too. Check out the beautiful glazed salmon they prepared for us.
The charming town has its own wine bar, antiques store, Texas oldest dancehall and so much more. My favorite restaurant there, so far, is the Gristmill. Awesome chicken fried steaks, colossal onion rings, juicy hamburgers-you name it-they do it right!
