Based on what we know so far, Sunday’s 88th Academy Awards ceremony is sure to be an eventful one! Settle in for a night of glitz and glam and, okay, maybe a dash of controversy too. Anything can happen from the moment the red carpet rolls out!
Cheers to three classy concoctions made especially for Oscar Night fun. Up first, mixologist Nicholas Kenna of Brigid Restaurant in San Antonio got crafty with Botanist gin infused with herbs and spices for his ‘Growing Pains‘ cocktail.
His ornate creation is inspired by Best Picture nominee, The Martian, served up with a grapefruit zest and mint garnish:
Viewing party anyone? Wine not! Take 8 ounces of your favorite Pinot Noir, along with club soda, powdered sugar and fresh lemon juice to make this Show Stopper cocktail from Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi. Serve it up sexy in a martini glass… 😉
