With a new downtown location now open off of W. Sixth St., there’s no better time to kick back at The Grove. This impressive wine bar and eclectic New American kitchen has a diverse menu to say the least. As long as it’s fresh, in season and of a certain quality, chances are you may find it here! Many of the locally-sourced items are also vegan friendly and/or gluten-free.
Sandwiches, specialty pizzas, pastas, sharable salads – plus The Grove’s fan favorite bruschettas…
For $10 you may choose 3 out of a whopping 10 varieties! Pictured above was my choice three…they’re spectacular:
1) Ricotta, Champagne Grape Salsa
2) House Cured Salmon, Goat Cheese, Dill and Capers
3) Goat Cheese, Strawberry, Arugula, Balsamic
For veggie fans, I recommend the Crispy Brussel Sprouts w/ apple, caramelized onions, walnuts and balsamic. Or this beautiful Cauliflower and Shishito Peppers…roasted & crispy with cilantro, lime and cashews in a killer thai coconut curry sauce:
Many entrees like this Grilled Organic King Salmon are show pieces themselves! The wild salmon here comes with a medley of local farm vegetables and cilantro rice in a citrus verde sauce:
The Grove also boasts a phenomenal wine list. A few ‘light selections’ I like for these items:
– Ramón Bilbao Albariño
– Josh Cellars Pinot Noir (always less than $15!)
