A pair that have fairly similar flavor profiles are the Kris Artist Couvée (a Pinot Grigio from Italy) and the Huntaway Reserve, a Sauvignon Blanc out of New Zealand. Both are fruity, crisp and easy drinking wines.
The Essay Chenin Blanc is a South African blend with just a touch of Viognier – a medium bodied, esoteric wine with fascinating aromatics!
You might have trouble pronouncing Broadbent’s Grüner Veltliner (Green Veltliner), but look for the section of Austrian wines and surely there she’ll be. I’ve started experimenting with Austrian wines recently to no disappointment. They’re generally dry wines, full-bodied and complex.
billhook’s white blend from Santa Barbara is a French inspired blend…dense and aromatic. It’s part Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and Grenache Blanc. Lots of varying grapes pulled together in this one!
Spain’s Nora Albariño was made to enjoy with seafood, oysters in particular. Clean, crisp and citrusy. Remember when you buy 6 or more bottles – even those mixed and matched – receive an additional 10% discount on your total purchase!
