As you’ll see in the video, Executive Chef Ojan Bagher begins his demonstration with a classic Caesar salad, and, with a few minor ingredient substitutions, can reproduce the same salad in a much more attractive aesthetic. After all, as Chef Bagher notes, “a customer eats with their eyes,” so the visuals are key!
Instead of a grilled piece of chicken (as before), the new Caesar has its chicken skewered and instantly develops size on the plate. The same lettuce from our first salad is now cut into quarters (leaving the stems intact), seasoned and tossed on the grill to caramelize…delicious, and kinder on your digestion!
Lastly we jazzed up the coloring, garnishing our plate with diced green and red bell peppers, as well as a roasted black bean and corn relish — all coated in a refreshing Lemon-Lime Caesar dressing. Just look at the dramatic difference!
