All is Well with a Zinfandel
Wine manager Mary Busby shared some of her picks for the Zinfandel – her personal favorite. Zinfandels generally display a fuller body with dark fruit flavoring, and are a match for multiple items off your grill…something us Texans love! DC Flynt has the Chain Gang; half the price of its popular Prisoner counterpart from a true master of wine.
Sin Zin is a famous Zin out of Alexander Valley – they’ve been bottling it for 32 years! A berry blend with Petite Syrah…very nice! Lastly, the Into Zin, a Michael David wine, for under $10. This is fabulous! Mary considers it a hidden gem as far as Zinfandels go. October is a go!
