The San Antonio campus of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) is a fascinating place to learn more, experience new things culinary and meet some great folks in the process. I recently signed up for a week-long Bistro Boot Camp after hearing rave reviews on the classes from friends. I had a blast! There are no grades involved, only self-evaluations and plenty of encouragement from your team. In fact, the CIA welcomes whatever experience you have to build on. Chefs from all walks of life come from around the world to train…you can always improve on something!
