That’s when Gaucho Gourmet will proudly present its second cooking demonstration (the first a few weeks ago was fabulous!)  themed “All about Risotto” featuring  Chef Luca Della Casa. The demo is at Gaucho Gourmet’s store/warehouse location on 935 Isom Road.

Chef Luca Della Casa, a native of Torino, Italy has an impressive resume in the culinary scene of Italy and Spain working extensively in Torino and Lanzarote! You most likely remember seeing Chef Luca while he was working at Il Sogno.

For his “All about Risotto” cooking demo, Chef Luca will present the three best rice
varieties to cook Risotto: Vialone Nano, Carnaroli and Arborio.

He’ll discuss the differences in properties and uses, share cooking techniques and recipes. You’ll also be able to watch Chef Luca demonstrate how to properly cook risotto, taste 3 different recipes, and ask all kinds of questions.
