The Ondarre Reserva Rioja hails from Spain and recently scored an impressive 91 out of a possible 100 points from Wine Spectator magazine – not too shabby! You’ll taste cherry, oak and some extra spice. But what a nice finish!
Finally, I think I’m partial to this Clone 7 Meritage from DC Flynt. It’s a Bordeaux-style blend, although it sources it’s grapes from Napa. With black cherry, plum…even coffee undertones, it’s a maternal match made for lamb. Happy Mother’s Day ladies!
