Josephine St. Café’s premium wine & popular tenderloin salad
It’s a true Texas treasure sure to please, and something that folks from the Alamo City can’t get enough of! Sure it’s known far and wide for ‘Steaks & Whisky,’ but the Josephine Street Café is a real life roadhouse that has developed a reputation on quite a few food frontiers (Chicken fried steak anyone?).
A dramatic increase in menu options as of late has made way for a fabulous selection of premium wines like Beringer and Silver Oak available at bargain prices. If you order the Jordan cab, for example, only $68! You certainly get your money’s worth here – in variety and preparation. These wines are meticulously stored at 65 degrees for reds, and 40 degrees for whites. Mark my words, when they are served they taste superb!
There’s also a new item – the Tenderloin Salad – that’s been a real crowd pleaser to say the least; multiple types of lettuce mix with chunks of premium sirloin and fresh avocado in an exquisite homemade vinaigrette dressing. Light enough for Spring, yet totally filling! Relax with a good glass and this super salad, and you’re in business.
