Valentine's Day

Plan to begin making reservations now for one-on-one time with your special someone come the big day. All across the Alamo City, many of the top restaurants are rolling out stellar menu lineups for lovers on the 14th…there’s certainly a lot to choose from! Here’s a look at a few of my favorite places and what they’re cooking up on Valentine’s Day:

– You may know La Maestra Blanca best by her famous Avocado Margarita or her luscious desserts. Click here to see the Valentine’s Day menu for Aldaco’s Stone Oak.

– The River Walk has gotten a whole lot sweeter as of late! Biga on the Banks is beautiful bakery known for their Sticky Toffee Pudding…it’s insanely good! Click here to see the Valentine’s Day menu for Biga on the Banks.

– Crumpets is a lovely setting for a romantic meal. Click here for their Valentine’s Day menu. There’s an incredible trilogy option if you’re feeling up to the challenge: lobster, rack of lamb and tenderloin.

– Francesca’s at the Westin La Cantera boasts spectacular views and has a lovely menu featuring, among other things, this savory Citrus Lobster Salad and their Blue Crab ‘Chilly’ Ceviche. Click here for their Valentine’s Day menu.

– I don’t blame you: When I think of Morton’s Steakhouse, I think of cutting into a big, juicy slab of Backyard Steak. Click here for more information on Morton’s Valentine’s Day menu.

– It’s true, Paesano’s 1604 is an supremely romantic restaurant. Don’t forget about their raspberry Limoncello Tart! Click here for their Valentine’s Day menu.

– The village at La Villita is the Original Heart of San Antonio. Find yours at The Fig Tree. Click here for their Valentine’s Day menu. Little Rhein Steakhouse is also right around the corner! Click here for what they’re offering as well!
