Save Your Best For Holiday Brunch
Brunch is a favorite of mine, there’s no doubt about that! It seems like whenever there’s actually time to have brunch, we’re celebrating something special. Bring tasty tidings and cheer to your loved ones this holiday season with a few of my personal picks for mid-morning meals you shouldn’t miss out on…
This delicious dish comes from the heart of Sonoma, California. My husband and I were totally taken in by a beautiful B&B called the Inn at Occidental where we stayed a couple of weeks ago. It’s a cream-filled french toast with a rich, buttery orance sauce, which is unbelievably flavorful…we loved it so much we begged for the recipe!
The Terrace Grill, housed on the gorgeous stretch of property that is the Riven Rock Ranch resort has consistently been home to some of my most treasured Hill Country-inspired cuisines. It’s no surprise that this Pecan Crusted Crab Cake Eggs Benedict won me over from the very first bite. Imagine everything you crave in breaded, crispy crab cakes, but with a divine twist from the poached eggs and rich Hollandaise sauce…yes please!
Blanca Aldaco of Aldaco’s Stone Oak is a culinary queen! And her brunch options for you to try should be treated as such – they’re positively divine! Choose from her specialty (and local favorite), the cheesy chilaquiles, or go all in for her carne machaca…both are meaty, juicy & zesty for good reason! Click here to watch how she whips them up in a flash, especially for you.
Prepare ahead of time, and reap the benefits! Watch as Central Market’s cooking guru, Mary Martini, walks you through all of the steps for this versatile delight: an exquisite breakfast strata. Love on these luscious layers of goodness, and get creative with the ingredients…there’s definitely room to experiment!
