By royal decree, you are highly encouraged to take up a toga this New Year’s Eve! After all, it’s the end of the world as we know it, and Francesca’s at Sunset at the beautiful Westin La Cantera resort is prepared with ‘Your Last Supper’…
Come celebrate life in opulent style with your friends on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. Their New Year’s Eve themed event, “Your Last Supper”, honors the ancient Mayan prophesy of the end of times!
Guests are asked to “dress the part” with wanting to be a Mayan god for the day in full toga gear. The price point is $125, plus tax and gratuity.
Upon arrival, you will feel like a god or goddess as you are received by Mayan princesses and seated accordingly. Choose from a special selection of cocktails featuring Mayan flavors, created by expert bartender Shana Nettles.
Chef Ernie Estrada of Francesca’s and Chef John Herdman of Brannon’s Café have collaborated to create an innovative five-course menu. Paired with an exceptional wine list, this is sure to win the favor of the ancient gods themselves.
The Mayan procession will begin shortly after 8:00 p.m. with a ceremonial sabrage of Pol Roger champagne by High Priest and Resort Sommelier Steven Krueger, homage to the ancient temple sacrifice.
Unique door prizes and other fun activities will be provided to help ring in the 2012 New Year!
Please make your reservation at 210-558-2253 as soon as possible for this very exciting event that is sure to sell out quickly!
