It’s that time of the year to have a ball with bubbly! In keeping with their annual tradition of offering you some of the greatest champagnes in the world during the holiday season, The Westin La Cantera Resort is pulling out all of the stops between now through January 7th. CELEBRATE with CHAMPAGNE at a price you can say “CHEERS!” every day in Tio’s Lobby Lounge, Steinheimer’s Lounge, Brannon’s Cafe and Francesca’s at Sunset.

And speaking of celebrations… Francesca’s at Sunset will be hosting an exclusive CELEBRATE with CHAMPAGNE Dinner at on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7:00 p.m. The guest of honor for the reception and dinner will be Guy Noel Stout, M.S., C.W.E., and Corporate Director of Beverage Education in the Glazer Family of Companies. Guy is a Master Sommelier (M.S.), one of only 160 in the world! He is also a Certified Wine Educator (C.W.E.), Certified Spirits Specialist (CSS), and on the Executive Board of Directors for the Society of Wine Educators. Very impressive!

With all of those distinguished titles you would think Guy would be the ultimate ‘wine snob’ — quite the opposite.  He’s one of the funniest, most entertaining educators you’ll ever meet!  A super guy who just happens to know a whole heck of a lot about wine.

Guy will be sharing his insights on the marvels and delights of champagne. Behind the kitchen doors, Chef Ernie Estrada of Francesca’s at Sunset will collaborate with Chef John Herdman of Brannon’s Café to create a spectacular menu that accents the best  of these beautiful champagnes.
