Chocolate Lovers: Eat Your Heart Out!
H-town is wrapped up in a romance and the lovin’ is sweet! For a recent TV segment on KPRC I featured some of my favorite chocolate desserts that originate straight from the heart of the Bayou City. They are chic, creative, and 100% chocolate-infused…have I won you over yet?? Recipes from our own backyard, Houston!…Enjoy:
It’s Haven’s and it’s heavenly! This recipe for their chocolate icebox pie is an absolute MUST…and with ingredients that include a chilled Oreo pie crust and splash of Jack Daniels, your first slice won’t be your last…
Contemporary art and food collide at the innovative Masraff’s on the boulevard. Delicious dark chocolate crepes rest atop a flavorful bed of banana brulee and fresh wild berries…count me in! Click here for the entire recipe…
“Oh. My. Gosh…!” That’s the kind of reaction I’ve been getting from fans of this luscious chocolate peanut butter pie. Every bit as good as a Reeces with an end result that’s rich and creamy…sinfully good…I have the recipe here.
Care for a drink…for dessert?! Rosie’s Cocoa Berry Martini is cool, smooth and so unique. Godiva chocolate is the perfect fusion with just a hint of fruit in the aftertaste. I’ll toast to that! Click here to see how it’s made…

I love “chocolate!” “Xocai Healthy Chocolate” is both DIABETIC friendly and CAFFEINE FREE. Contrary to popular belief, “chocolate is quite low in caffeine.”
There is less caffeine in a 2 oz bar than you find in your favorite cup of decaf. “Xocai” is also “sweetened with raw cane juice;” which is a “low glycemic sweetener”
that makes “Xocai Dark Chocolate diabetic friendly.”
