Grilled caprese salad
Summertime…and the living is easy. And we are all heading to the grill for some time in the great outdoors. H-E-B Cooking Connection has come up with a grilled Caprese Salad…made with fresh heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella and portobello mushrooms. Chef Jeff from the H-E-B at Bunker Hill shows us how to make this easy salad. Best part is that you can clean up in a flash because the tomatoes and mushrooms are prepared on the grill. What a great dish for summer…and it’s filling enough that you can make a meal out of it!

When my friend, Bill Varney, had The Herb Farm in Fredericksburg for so many years, he did a Grilled Peach Salad that was absolutely divine! I thought I had the recipe in one of his books but don’t. I need to ask him for it.
Where can I find the recipe for the grilled caprese salad, I saw the video but need the details of the recipe.
